Pakistan’s paper and board industry had a valuation of approximately Rs. 897 billion for fiscal year ended 2020 with a 10% growth expected for 2020-2021. Paper and board industry offers various grades of paper including writing and printing paper, packaging board, and liner board. Around 200 industrial chemicals may be used in the manufacturing of paper and AMC assists by supplying most. The major chemicals that are used include soda ash, caustic, hydrogen, chlorine dioxide and others.
